Dr. Alexander Rahimdel
Dr. Alexander Rahimdel is a premier cosmetic dentist in Carlsbad, California. He is licensed and authorized to work in three continents including Europe, Asia, and America. His experience in interacting with different cultures in the cosmetic field has given him a unique touch to both function and aesthetics in the dental and facial world. Dr. Alexander prides himself in being compassionate, gentle, kind, and honest healthcare professional. He believes that succes only comes with empathy, compassion, honesty and in doing good for his community. Spa-feeling environment
We provide our patients with a relaxed and positive atmosphere. Our goal is to be pleasing to all senses – sight, touch, feel, and smell, along with patient-centered therapy. Wellness is the focus of our practice.
We achieve our goal by playing a playlist of calming music. We use smell machines and oil diffusers to please our patient’s olfactory sense. Warm steamed towels socked on essential oils are also a tradition in our office to relax our patients.
Dental Anxiety Management approaches
Invictus uses special strategies for relaxation along with guided imagery and adjuvant use of physiological monitoring using biofeedback, distraction, positive reinforcement, stop-signaling, and exposure-based treatments, such as systematic desensitization, “tell-show-do”, and modeling. Also, Invictus Doctors may prescribe anti-anxiety drugs, that you can take before a scheduled dental visit. We may also recommend conscious sedation, such as nitrous oxide (or “laughing gas”), which can help calm nerves.
